The flavours in Five Spice Blend reflect the influence of Chinese cuisine, dating back more than fifty years. This dish should be cooked a day in advance and left to marinate, giving a richer flavour to the meats.

(serves 3-4 persons)

For best flavor, this dish needs to be prepared one day in advance, and left to marinate.
The great taste of the Five-Spice Blend Soup is inherited from the influence of early Chinese cuisine
and is a much-loved family favorite.
•Clean chicken wings thoroughly and leave to dry. Dredge in the Chinese Five-Spice Blend (Pae-Lo Powder).
•Fry garlic in hot oil until golden brown. Add chicken wings and stir until they are just cooked.
•Add water and flavour with sugar, salt, soy sauce and black soy sauce plus some coriander root. Close lid and simmer until cooked.
•Add five boiled eggs, followed by diced white tofu. Lower heat and simmer for about 1 hour. Flavour again to taste and remove from stove. Serve in bowl with a sprinkle of coriander leaves.

Pad Thai Fried Noodles in Egg Wrap

PAD THAI STIR-FRY SAUCE 120 G.

Among the most famous Thai dish, Pad Thai must place itself in the top five on the list. Lobo has created a delicious user-friendly recipe which makes the dish very easy to prepare, complete with roasted peanut and in addition, illustrates how to make the fabulous “Fold-Over Omelet Style”. It’s unbelievably easy and authentic!

Recipe: Pad Thai Fried Noodles in Egg Wrap

(Serves 2 persons)

  • Lobo Pad Thai Stir-Fry Sauce     1 packet ( I sell on my eBay )
  • Fresh rice noodles or called Chan noodles  200 g (7 oz)
  • (or) dried Chan noodles or bean vermicelli  120 g (4.2 oz)
  • Peeled fresh shrimps   100 g (3.5 oz)
  • Diced extra firm tofu  100 g (3.5 oz)
  • Egg   1
  • Vegetable oil       3 tablespoons
  • Picked bean sprouts    100 g (3.5 oz)
  • Chopped garlic chives          3 stems

Certainly one of Thailand’s most famous dishes, and to make it extra special and easy,
Lobo has created a delicious user-friendly recipe. We also explain how to prepare the famous “Fold-over Omelet-style”. It’s authentic!
•        Heat the pan; add oil followed by shrimps and extra firm tofu. Stir until just cooked and break the eggs into the pan.
•        When egg starts to cook, add Pad Thai Stir-Fry Sauce, followed by Chan noodles. Keep stirring. Gradually sprinkle with water to keep the noodles soft.
•        Add bean sprouts and garlic chives. Continue to stir for 1 minute, remove and serve.

•        If dried Chan noodles or bean vermicelli is used, soak in water for about 15 minutes to soften first.
•        The yellow tofu used must be fresh and free of sticky liquid and bad smell. The bean sprouts must also be fresh and crispy. Soak bean sprouts in a solution of water and vinegar for a while to make them crispier for longer.
•        When cooking, stir the noodles quickly and allow the flavor to seep in thoroughly. As for the egg, fry it with only a small amount of cooking oil at high heat in order to achieve a thin and even sheet of fried egg that is not oily.
•        If you can take it hot, add ground chili when stirring.
